“Where is the spring?” Many weaving enterprises are pessimistic about the present state of the textile market when faced with the high inventory. The situation is just like the present cold weather in Spring. Entered into March, the influence on the manufacturers of the demand factors enlarged day by day, following with capital and costs etc. always puzzled the enterprises. The weaving enterprise expressed lack of orders and the high inventory of gray fabrics. As for this early March, what was the operational condition of the weaving enterprises? In order to solve this question, we continued to dig into the weaving enterprises and market, judged from the production costs of the textiles to know the current living condition of the weaving enterprises. (Note: we took on the raw material prices of March 8th as the cost accounting)
Chiffon series:
Chiffon fabrics (75D*75D，18*3*30，168cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp and weft uses FDY75D/72F and the quotation of it is 13,500 Yuan/ton in March 8th.
The warp: (18*3*75*1.68*0.0135) /90=1.02 Yuan/m
The weft: (75*30*1.68*0.0135) /90=0.57 Yuan/m
The total costs: 1.02+0.57=1.59 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 4.12 Yuan/m, there is a great gap compared to the cost price of the raw material. Although the profit space is good if adds to the expenses of the electricity and water, artificial costs and so on, and the demands of chiffon fabrics still exist in the market, so the overall profits can be guaranteed.
Polyester Pongee series:
320T dull polyester pongee (50D *50D，24*3*45，168cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses polyester full-dull DTY50D/72F and the quotation of it is 20,800 Yuan/ton in March 8th.
The warp: (24*3*50*1.68*0.0208) /90=1.40 Yuan/m
The weft: (45*50*1.68*0.0208) /90=0.87 Yuan/m
The total costs: 1.40+0.87=2.27 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 4.15 Yuan/m. According to the cost prices plus the current weaving expenses, and there is still a certain profit space. At present, the market on the fabric mentality is differing, so the fabric price is rising and falling.
The series of nylon taffeta
(1) 190T nylon taffeta (70D*70D，20*2*30，160cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses nylon semi-dull DTY70D and the quotation of it is 30,300 Yuan/ton in March 8th.
The warp: (20*2*70*1.60*0.0303) /90=1.51 Yuan/m
The weft: (30*70*1.60*0.0303) /90=1.13 Yuan/m
The total costs: 1.51+1.13=2.64 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 4.00 Yuan/m. According to the cost prices plus the current weaving expenses, and the profit space of it has decreased compared to last month.
(2) 210T nylon taffeta (70D*70D，22*2*33，160cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses nylon semi-dull DTY70D and the quotation of it is 30,300 Yuan/ton in March 8th.
The warp: (22*2*70*1.60*0.0303) /90=1.66 Yuan/m
The weft: (33*70*1.60*0.0303) /90=1.24 Yuan/m
The total costs: 1.66+1.24=2.90 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 4.32 Yuan/m. The manufacturers reduce slightly the prices in order to smooth delivery. According to the cost prices add to the current weaving expenses, and the profit space of it is general.
Suede series:
(1) the warp suede (105D*200D，9.5*5*24，163cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses sea-island yarn 105D and the quotation of it is 21,500 Yuan/ton in March 8th, and the weft uses polyester FDY200D and the quotation of it is 12,400 Yuan/ton.
The warp: (9.5*5*105*1.63*0.0215) /90=1.94 Yuan/m
The weft: (200*24*1.63*0.0124) /90=1.08 Yuan/m
The total costs: 1.94+1.08=3.02 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 4.80 Yuan/m. According to the cost prices add to the current weaving expenses, and the profit space of the warp suede tends to be small, and the orders of manufacturers are general.
(2) the weft suede (75D*225D，20*3*31，174cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses polyester FDY75D/36F and the quotation of it is 13,400 Yuan/ton in March 8th, and the weft uses sea-island yarn 225D and the quotation of it is 19,000 Yuan/ton.
The warp: (20*3*75*1.74*0.0134) /90=1.17 Yuan/m
The weft: (225*31*1.74*0.019) /90=2.56 Yuan/m
The total costs: 1.17+2.56=3.73 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 4.90 Yuan/m. According to the cost prices add to the current weaving expenses, and the profit space of the weft suede changes little compared to the previous periods.
Taslon series:
228T nylon taslon (70D*160D，21*3*28，160cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses nylon semi-dull DTY70D and the quotation of it is 30,300 Yuan/ton in March 8th, and the weft uses nylon yarn ATY160D and the quotation of it is 33,700 Yuan/ton.
The warp: (21*3*70*1.60*0.0303) /90=2.38 Yuan/m
The weft: (28*160*1.60*0.0337) /90=2.68 Yuan/m
The total costs: 2.38+2.68=5.06 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is about 6.54 Yuan/m. In this view, according to the cost prices add to the current weaving expenses, the profit space of taslon fabric cuts down compared with the previous periods, and the inquiry atmosphere is general in the market.
The series of polyester peach skin
(1) the polyester peach skin with plain 144F (75D*150D，18*3*27，160cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses polyester FDY 75D and the quotation of it is 13,400 Yuan/ton in March 8th, and the weft uses polyester FDY150D and the quotation of it is 12,500 Yuan/ton.
The warp: (18*3*75*1.60*0.0134) /90=0.99 Yuan/m
The weft: (150*27*1.6*0.0125) /90=0.94 Yuan/m
The total costs: 0.99+0.94=1.93 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 3.62 Yuan/m. According to the cost prices, it exits a certain profit space, but the shipment is difficult in the market.
(2) the polyester peach skin with twill 288F (75D*150D，18*3*35，160cm), the cost calculation of this fabric is as follows:
According to the warp uses polyester FDY 75D and the quotation of it is 13,700 Yuan/ton in March 8th, and the weft uses polyester FDY150D and the quotation of it is 13,100 Yuan/ton.
The warp: (18*3*75*1.60*0.0137) /90=0.99 Yuan/m
The weft: (150*35*1.6*0.0131) /90=1.22 Yuan/m
The total costs: 0.99+1.22=2.21 Yuan/m
Now the offer tax of this fabric is 4.03 Yuan/m. According to the cost prices, it still exits a certain profit space, but the purchasing is weak in the market.
Generally speaking, the pessimism of the demands is verified in the previous textile market. The domestic and export orders continue to slide, which is lack of the demands’ support and casts a shadow in the fabric market. Original demands are not good, coupled with inhibition of low for the recent raw material prices, all of these caused the overall profits down for the weaving factory. Sales channel is not smooth, which enlarged the inventory pressure of the weaving enterprises, thus made the enterprises emerging questions in the capital turnover.
Notes: Because the differences of technical control and the raw material purchasing price etc., the above cost accounting is hard to avoid differences, so it is only for reference.
