China’s Exports of Textile Apparel Dropped 54.87% Quarter-on-quarter in Feb

Chinese Customs Bureau announced the import and export data of foreign trades in February. According to it, the exports of textile and apparel in China was about 9.712 billion dollars, decreased 7.01% year-on-year and dropped 54.87% quarter-on-quarter. Exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products was 4.264 billion dollars, up 5.90% year-on-year, down 44.45% quarter-on-quarter. Export volume of garments and accessories reached 5.448 dollars, down 15.10% year-on-year and 60.64% quarter-on-quarter. Jan- Feb, 2012, the total exports of textile and apparel was 31.230 billion dollars accumulatively, down 2.59% year-on-year.
