Fabric Sales Get Warmer, Chemical Fiber Index Increases in China

On February 14th, 2012, according to the monitor of Commerce Department, China-Shengze Silk Chemical Fiber Index shows that the chemical fiber index continues to increase, closed at 96.55 points compared with the previous trading day, up 0.06 points. Among them, the price index of chemical fabric closed at 96.22 points, up 0.05 points; and the index of chemical fiber closed at 97.67 points, up 0.07 points compared with yesterday.
 Firstly, from fabric market to see
The price index of chemical fabric closed at 96.22 points, up 0.05 points compared with the previous day. From China-Shengze fabric market to look, as a whole, now the fabric price tends to weak while maintaining the stability in China-Shengze, but there is still better compared with the previous period. Basically, the operation rate tends to stable in China-Shengze, which it keeps 70-80% or so.
 From the overall sales situation of fabric market to see, now the downstream inquiry is general, and the inventory pressure of weaving factory is still great. Through the conventional chemical fiber fabric to look, because it is affected by the European cold current, down jacket fabrics begin to be warmer. At present, polyester pongee and nylon taffeta sales are good in the market, which the individual fabric manufacturer has pulled up the price, and other fabric is unchangeable. Due to the shortage of demand, elastic pongee, taslon and N/P fabric price fall slightly.
Secondly, from the raw material market to review
 The index of chemical fiber closed at 97.67 points, up 0.07 points compared with the previous day. From the upstream raw material price to see, because the production and marketing continued to decline in the downstream, and PTA price began to fall. On February 14th, PTA price is about 9,100 Yuan/ton in China. In addition, PTA price also declines in the overseas market, now Taiwan goods quotes 1,210 U.S. dollars/ton, Korean good quotes 1,190 dollars/ton. Moreover, MEG price continues to be soft trends, which the quotation is about 8,350 Yuan/ton in China, and mainstream negotiating price is near by 1,090 dollars/ton in the overseas market.
From the chemical raw material to see, today the polyester yarn price is unchangeable in China-Jiangsu, and the polyester yarn price continues to be stable in China-Shengze, now accepted quotation of FDY50D/24F is 15,500 Yuan/ton in a spinning factory, and DTY150D/144F is 15,100 Yuan/ton within six months. In addition, the accepted quotation of bright FDY50D/36F is 16,800 Yuan/ton, and semi-bright FDY50D/24F is 15,600 Yuan/ton in another melting spinning factory. Moreover, cash quotation of FDY50D/48F is 14,600 Yuan/ton in another FDY factory, and the bright FDY50D/36F is 14,800 Yuan/ton. Meanwhile, the polyester yarn price is also unchangeable in China-Taicang, now the cash quotation of POY75D/72F is 13,600 Yuan/ton in the local leading factory, and POY150D/144F is about 12,950 Yuan/ton. The polyester yarn price has no change in China-Zhejiang, and the price keeps stable in China-Xiaoshan, now the quotation of FDY61D/24F is 14,400 Yuan/ton in a mainstream factory, and DTY150D/144F is 14,500 Yuan/ton, however, the cash quotation of POY75D/36F is 12,810 Yuan/ton in another POY factory. Furthermore, the polyester yarn price is still unchangeable in China-Shaoxing, now the cash quotation of FDY55D/72F is 14,110 Yuan/ton in the local factory, and FDY150D/96F is 12,860 Yuan/ton. Meanwhile, the polyester price is stable in China-Tongxiang, now the cash quotation of DTY150D/48F is 13,800 Yuan/ton in the local major factory, DTY150D/144F is 14,700 Yuan/ton, and POY150D/144F is about 13,000 Yuan/ton.
