Cotton price was rising to 16,828 Yuan from 16,753 Yuan/ton this week, increased 76 Yuan/ton. The purchase price of seed cotton continued to be stable, and the enterprise began to intensify efforts to purchase. Because some areas that the cotton was suffered heavy rains at mature stage, which quality was greatly affected, in addition, the enterprise stored ginned cotton whose was dominated by high-grade before the Spring Festival, now good resources of seed cotton was limited in the market.
The trading quantity of 100% cotton yarn was little this week, the market sales appeared the trends of stability, and the price continued to be rising. From sales to review, 32s of 100% cotton yarn which the demand was better, the price was rising 26,500 Yuan/ton from 26,400 Yuan/ton this week, increased 100 Yuan/ton, which mainly used for air-jet loom N/C series, 32s of 100% combed cotton yarn quoted 30,300-30,500 Yuan/ton, increased 200 Yuan/ton. With the operation rate of enterprise had been rising and the international situation tend to be good, the yarn price would continue to rise slightly.
