168tex News: This week, VSF quantity and price dropped simultaneously, and the sale is dull. Now the market buy out price is around 16000CNY/t. Some low priced suppliers offered 15700CNY/t, dropping by 300~500CNY. Currently, the monthly settlement price has not yet come out. Manufacturers are mostly laying their hope in December. Aftermarket straddle attitude is heavy, and the production and consumption rate this week is just on average.
This week, European debt crisis lead to a depressed export market, with export orders greatly reduced. Under such a background, VSF price continue downward. Upstream short staple cotton and cotton pulp price is stable. Pulp plants are mostly in deficit, downstream rayon yarn market turn over is also low for the shock brought by the fabric market. For the multiple negative factors, VSF price went down.
On the upstream market, short staple cotton price went down. And oil plants are reluctant to sell up the goods, with not much stock on the market. Now Xiajin short plush cotton, with invoice is offered at 4000CNY, and pulp plants buy in individually, keeping the line with the price of last week. As for cotton pulp, its market offer is down regulated. Last week, it was 8500CNY, which was hard to manage, and the negotiate price is around 8300CNY/t. VSF plants withhold the price around 8000CNY/t, dropping by 300CNY/t. According to reflect, the cost of pulp plants is around 8700CNY/t, which is in deficit.
On the downstream market, cotton spot market price is generally stable. The main reason that caused its weak demand is the oversea depressed market. Now China 328 grade cotton is offered at 19087CNY, dropping by 89CNY/t. As for rayon yarn, this week, rayon yarn market is still weak, but its market price is relative stable. Now for the low price, most yarn plants are reluctant to sell the goods, but for the financial difficulty, some yarn plants had to cut off price for promotion, thus dragging the enterprises into a bud puddle. Jiangsu rayon yarn 30S for weaving is offered at 19300CNY/t, some high class product is offered at 19500CNY/t, and price in Xiaoshao area is relative low, with its 30S weaving is offered at 19000CNY/t, dropping slightly by 200CNY.
To sum up, VSF market is still unclear. The negotiate price has been down regulated that brings some difference to the monthly settlement price and VSF conference monthly settlement price. It is hard for manufacturers to price the goods and the price is estimated to go down slightly in the next week.
