Operating Rates Dropped, PFY Price Kept Falling

    In downstream market, more and more manufacturers chose to shut down the devices as the sales were unsatisfying. The PFY price continues to drop in Jiangsu market. Now a leading manufacturer in Shengze decreased DTY products by 100-300 Yuan/ton generally. Now they quoted DTY 75D/72F light web for 15800 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/24F for 13800 Yuan/ton. Another manufacturer stabilized the quotations and now they quoted DTY 75D/72F for 17100 Yuan/ton and semi-dull FDY 50D/24F for 14300 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the inquiring atmosphere was weak and might reduce the quotation afterwards.

    PFY price decreased in Zhejiang market. A leading FDY manufacturer in Shao Xing decreased the quotations by 200 Yuan/ton generally and their production-marketing was around 50-60%. The polyester price continued to decrease in Tong Xiang. One of the local leading manufacturer decreased FDY products by 300 Yuan/ton and DTY products by 200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 66D/24F for 13300 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/144F light web for 14300 Yuan/ton. Another POY manufacturer decreased the quotations by 300 Yuan/ton and quoted POY 75D/36F for 11200 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 11300 Yuan/ton.
