    The polyester yarn price tended to be steady in Jiangsu market. A local direct spinning manufacturer in Shengze decreased the prices dramatically. FDY products are cut 300 Yuan/ton generally while DTY products lost 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 15300 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/144F for 15900 Yuan/ton. Another melt spinning manufacturer stabilized the quotations. The price dropped in Taicang Market. Some of the POY products decreased 200 Yuan/ton. Now a local manufacturer quoted POY 150D/144F for 13000 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported the inquiring atmosphere was weak in the early market.

    The polyester yarn price also fell in Zhejiang market. One of the leading manufacturers in Xiao Shan quoted FDY 50D/24F for 14800 Yuan/ton and FDY 150D/96F for 13200 Yuan/ton. Another local POY manufacturer quoted POY 75D/36F for 12500 Yuan/ton by cash and POY 150D/144F for 12500 Yuan/ton by cash. Manufacturers reported that the production-marketing fell down recently and yesterday’s was around 50-60%. The polyester yarn prices were unchanged in Shao Xing. A local manufacturer quoted FDY 150D/96F for 13200 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported the sales were weak recently. The situation is the same for Tong Xiang market. A local leading manufacturer generally decreased the products for 200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted DTY 150D/48F for 14200 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 13050 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the production-marketing was around 60-70%.
