October 31, 2011- Straddle Attitude is Strong Polyester Yarn Price Dropped

The polyester yarn market went weak in Jiangsu today. Now a local melt spinning manufacturers in Shengze quoted DTY 75D/72F light web for 18100 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F for 16200 Yuan/ton. Another manufacturer quoted bright FDY 40D/24F for 15200 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F for 15100 Yuan/ton. The quotations also decreased in Taicang. Now a local POY manufacturer cut 200 Yuan/ton for POY products and 100-200 Yuan/ton for FDY products. Now they quoted POY 150D/144F for 13550 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/24F for 15100 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the inquiring atmosphere was weak in the early market.

The polyester yarn price also dropped in Zhejiang market. One of the POY manufacturers in Xiao Shan decreased the products by 100 Yuan/ton generally. Now POY 75D/36F is quoted 12900 Yuan/ton by cash and POY 150D/144F for 13000 Yuan/ton. Another leading manufacturer stabilized the quotations and now they quoted FDY 61D/24F for 14900 and DTY 150D/48F light web for 15700 Yuan/ton. The polyester price also went down in Shao Xing market. Now a local manufacturer decreased FDY fine denier products by 100-200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 63D/24F for 14200 Yuan/ton and FDY 150D/96F for 13200 Yuan/ton. The polyester yarn price was downtrend in Tong Xiang. Now a local leading manufacturer quoted DTY 150D/48F for 14600 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 13550 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported the sales was ordinary last weekend and the production-marketing was around 90%.
