Today, the polyester price tends to be weak in Jiangsu Market. Leading manufacturers in Shengze stabilized the quotations. Now one of the direct spinning manufacturers quoted FDY 50D/24F for 16700 Yuan/ton with 6-month acceptance and DTY 150D/144F light web for 16500 Yuan/ton with 6-month acceptance. Another leading melt spinning manufacturer quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/48F for 16300 Yuan/ton and light FDY 50D/36F for 16500 Yuan/ton. In practical trades, privileges are heard and the inventory is around half-month amount. Polyester yarn price decreased in Taicang. One of the major manufacturers there generally decreased the products by 100 Yuan/ton and some with high inventories down by 200 Yuan/ton. Now FDY 50D/24F is quoted 15800 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 13850 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported the inquiring atmosphere was weak in the early market.

In Zhejiang Market, polyester yarn price is also downward. A leading manufacturer in Xiao Shan decreased some of DTY products by 100-200 Yuan/ton and some individuals by 300-500 Yuan/ton. FDY products are all down 200 Yuan/ton and some 300 Yuan/ton. Now FDY 61D/24F is quoted 15400 Yuan/ton and DTY 75D/144F for 18400 Yuan/ton. Another POY manufacturer generally decreased the prices by 200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted POY 150D/48F for 13400 Yuan/ton and supply privilege in real trades. The price keeps steady in Shao Xing. One of the local manufacturer quoted FDY 150D/96F for 17300 Yuan/ton. Polyester yarn price continues to fall in Tong Xiang. A leading manufacturer there decreased FDY products by 200 Yuan/ton generally and others by 150 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted DTY 150D/48F for 14700 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 13650 Yuan/ton by cash. Manufacturers all reported demand of the downstream market was weak.
