Now the quotation of spot goods was around 5,150 Yuan/ton, the counteroffer was around 5,150 Yuan/ton and the transaction price stayed at 5,150 Yuan/ton. In addition, the quotation of MEG decreased slightly in the overseas market. Now the quotation of cargo goods stayed at 630 dollars/ton, the counteroffer was around 625 dollars/ton and the negotiating price was quoted at 625-630 dollars/ton.
In the aspects of raw material, the ethylene price kept firm in the world. Now the ethylene price was quoted at 1,135 dollars/ton in Northeast Asia, the price declined 10 dollars/ton to 1,085 dollars/ton CFR in Southeast Asia and the price increased 2.5 dollars/ton to 1,004.5 dollars/ton CIF in Northwest Europe. Furthermore, the market demand of MEG was general in China. It was expected that MEG price would be stable in the short term.
