168tex News: Today MEG price decreased slightly in domestic market. Now the quotation of spot goods was around 5,150 Yuan/ton, the counteroffer was around 5,150 Yuan/ton and the transaction price stayed at 5,150 Yuan/ton. In addition, the quotation of MEG also decreased slightly in the overseas market. Now the quotation of cargo goods stayed at 630-635 dollars/ton and the negotiating discussion was around 620-625 dollars/ton. The bonded price was 640 dollars/ton and the negotiating price was quoted at 625-630 dollars/ton.
In the aspects of raw material, the ethylene price kept firm in the world. Now the ethylene price was about 1,125 dollars/ton in Northeast Asia, the price stayed at 1,095 dollars/ton CFR in Southeast Asia and the price decreased 4 dollars/ton to 1,007.5 dollars/ton CIF in Northwest Europe. Furthermore, MEG price was weak in China. It was expected that MEG price would be down in the short term.
