168tex News: Today MEG price increased slightly in domestic market. Now the quotation of spot goods was around 5,250 Yuan/ton, the counteroffer was around 5,200-5,220 Yuan/ton and the transaction price stayed at 5,220-5,230 Yuan/ton. In addition, the quotation of MEG also increased slightly in the overseas market. Now the quotation of cargo goods stayed at 640-645 dollars/ton and the negotiating discussion was around 640 dollars/ton. The bonded price was 640 dollars/ton and the negotiating price was quoted at 655 dollars/ton.
In the aspects of raw material, the ethylene price kept firm in the world. Now the ethylene price was about 1,125 dollars/ton in Northeast Asia, the price stayed at 1,095 dollars/ton CFR in Southeast Asia and the price increased 3.5 dollars/ton to 1,011 dollars/ton CIF in Northwest Europe. Furthermore, MEG price was rising while maintaining the stability in China. It was expected that MEG price would be strong in the short term.
