168tex News: Viscose staple fiber price keeps stable this week. Now the mainstream price level is around 19800-20000CNY, and the strike price is around 19700-19900CNY, which is on line with that of last weekend. Now the market is overwhelmed with festival atmosphere, the trade atmosphere has calm down.
For the influence of surround economy, bulk goods price dropped one after another. This week, VSF demand is low and its production and consumption rate is weakened. VSF turn over is just on average and stock level increased.
On upstream, lint cotton trade atmosphere is on average, with its price stabilized. Now lint cotton price has dropped to some degree, with some plants quotation down regulated. Now common plush lint price is offered around 5300-5500CNY/t, and some suppliers offer a relative low price of 5000CNY, long plush lint is offered at 5600CNY, which dropped 200CNY, comparing with that of last week. Now new lint comes into the market gradually, with a relatively better quality than expected. Moreover, oil plants are on the risk of loss, thus oil price is not likely to down regulated again. As for cotton pulp, its price is mostly stable, with individually down regulated. Cotton pulp price negotiate core is downward to some degree with the influence of the price drop in VSF and lint. Now cotton pulp is mostly traded around 11800-11900CNY, some even traded at 11500CNY, in compare with that of last week, the price was down regulated by 4.1%. Now pulp plants stock level is low, but its trade atmosphere is on average.
On downstream, cotton market price slightly dropped. Now cotton demand of the market is not large, with low amount orders placed. Weaving plants are encountering with a big difficulty. China 328 grade cotton index quotation is 19972CNY, reducing 23CNY. Rayon yarn market trade atmosphere is on average, with the turn over continue downward. For the influence of both upstream and downstream, rayon yarn price is hard to increase. Now Xiaoshao 30S for loom weaving is offered at 23800-24300CNY, and 30S for knitting is offered at 24400-25200CNY, reducing 200CNY in compare with that of last week.
To sum up, before the national holiday, VSF plants keeps a firm quotation in spite of a low production and consumption rate and a low stock level. It is expected that after the national holiday, cotton weaving plants will buy in material universally, enlarging the market demand, and VSF price is expected to continue to consolidate at a low price level.
