Viscose staple yarn price comes to stabilized this week, and its price becomes firm. Now 1.5D market mainstream is quoted at 19800-20000CNY, some plants quoted it higher, which is around 20100-20200CNY, increasing 200CNY in compare with that of the last week, and its strike price is mostly around 19800CNY. Now viscose staple yarn production rate is slowed down, with an average production and marketing rate.
At the beginning of the week, viscose staple yarn feedstock, auxiliary feedstock price slightly increased, which boosted viscose staple yarn price up. In addition with cotton price increase, further boosted viscose staple yarn price up. But the shortage covering procurement is just over, the general out turn is reduced. Viscose staple yarn price will be kept stable.
On upstream, cotton linter price changes little, comparing with that of last week. Now, new lint cotton comes into the market gradually. But its quality is said to be on average, thus old lint cotton becomes short supplied. Now plush becomes popular on the market, normal plush cotton price is quoted at 5500CNY/t, plush is quoted at 5800CNY. On cotton pulp, its turn over is considerable. Some pulp plants with hold the goods, and downstream procurement activeness is increased. Now the mainstream is marked up at 11800-12000CNY, and some pulp plants quoted a higher price of 12400CNY.
On downstream, for the favorable acquisition factor, cotton price continue to rise. The fourth grade lint cotton price is stable, with its price offered at 19000-19300CNY, third grade is offered at 19500-19800CNY. Downstream weaving plants buy in according to need. Now the market is in stalemate. But for the cotton price increase, its replacement, viscose staple yarn, whose price is boosted up. As for rayon yarn, its price is boosted by cotton price, slightly increased, now 30S for knitting is quoted at 24500-25200CNY, which increased by 700CNY, comparing with that of last week.
Generally speaking, upstream feedstock price is firm, downstream procurement prudently, under such a background, viscose staple yarn production and marketing rate come to weakened. Now most viscose staple yarn enterprise narrowed its profit margin, but still, its sale is dull, and demand lessened. It is estimated that viscose staple yarn price will be stabilized in a short term, but is upward trend will continue.
