August 29, 2011- Demand Stable, The Polyester Yarn Price is in Adjustment

The overall polyester yarn price goes steady in Jiangsu Market today. Local manufacturers in Shengze unchanged the quotations. Now a local melt spinning manufacturer quoted semi-dull FDY 50D/48F for 17300 Yuan/ton and light DTY 150D/144F for 17500 Yuan/ton by cash. Another direct spinning manufacturer quoted DTY 150D/48F for 16500 Yuan/ton by 6-month acceptance and FDY 50D/24F for 17500 Yuan/ton by 6-month acceptance. The other manufacture quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 16800 Yuan/ton and semi-dull FDY 50D/48F for 16700 Yuan/ton. Most manufacturers reported that the present storage was at a low level and some fine-denier products already had no inventory. The polyester yarn price keeps steady in Taicang. Now a local manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 16900 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 15100 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the inquiring atmosphere was weak in the early market.

The polyester yarn price continues to adjust in Zhejiang Market today. The quotations are mainly unchanged in Xiao Shan. Now a local leading manufacturer quoted FDY 75D/36F for 15600 Yuan/ton and FDY 150D/96F for 14600 Yuan/ton. Another leading POY manufacturer quoted POY 75D/36F for 14600 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the sales began to fall back from last week and the inquiring atmosphere weakened in the early market. The general polyester yarn price is stable in Shao Xing, except one FDY manufacturer who increased FDY 150D products by 200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 150D/96F for 14210 Yuan/ton and FDY 75D/36F for 15510 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that basically, the production and marketing was balanced everyday by now and they had little storage. The polyester yarn price is in stalemate in Tong Xiang. Local leading manufacturers stabilized the quotations; now one of them quoted POY 150D/144F for 15000 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/48F for 16050 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported the sales dropped in the two-day weekend and the production-marketing was around 90%.
