PTA Market Showed Increasing Tendency

At the open in the beginning of this week, PTA futures followed the increasing tendency in the morning; the spot market also shows straddle but firm and increasing tendency. In the domestic market, suppliers’ selling offering was around 9250-9300 Yuan/ton and the leading discussion was around 9200 Yuan/ton. In the overseas market, Taiwan Cargo’s selling offering was around 1190 dollars/ton and the practical discussion was lower around 1180-1185 dollars/ton; Korean Cargo’s offering was around 1170 dollars/ton. However, when the PTA futures plunged, the straddle attitude on market began to strengthen and the prices tended to be weak.
