The polyester yarn price is uptrend today in Jiangsu Market. A local direct spinning manufacturer in Shengze increased FDY products by 200-500 Yuan/ton and DTY products by 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 16300 Yuan/ton by acceptance, FDY 75D/144F for 16400 Yuan/ton by acceptance and DTY 75D/72F for 19500 Yuan/ton by acceptance. Another melt spinning manufacturer increased FDY products by 100-200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 16000 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F for 17400 Yuan/ton by cash. Another manufacturer stabilized the quotations and quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 16000 Yuan/ton and FDY 50D/48F for 15600 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the inquiring atmosphere in the early market was good. The polyester yarn price is increasing in Taicang market. One of the local manufacturers increased some of POY products by 50-100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted POY 150D/144F for 14950 Yuan/ton by cash remittance and FDY 50D/24F for 15500 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that yesterday’s production-marketing was around 90%.

The polyester yarn price is mainly steady in Zhejiang Market. Local manufacturers in Xiao Shan unchanged the quotations; now one of them quoted FDY 150D/96F for 14000 Yuan/ton and DTY 75D/144F micro-web for 19600 Yuan/ton. Another manufacturer quoted DTY 150D/48F low-stretch for 15900 Yuan/ton. However, the POY manufacturer increased some of the short-supply products by 50 Yuan/ton and quoted POY 75D/36F for 14700 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 14600 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the production and marketing can be balanced and the storage was comparatively low. Some of the products in Tong Xiang were increased by 100 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported the inquiring atmosphere in the early market was good.

Manufacturers’ intention to increase the prices is strong in China. However, some minor manufacturers focus on selling amount and stabilize the quotations. The prices’ tendency in the afterward market depends on the downstream manufacturers’ ability to shoulder.
