The polyester yarn price is in stalemate in Jiangsu Market. Leading manufacturers in Shengze stabilized the previous quotations. Now the local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 15,300 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/144F for 16,400 Yuan/ton by cash. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/72F for 17,400 Yuan/ton. The other manufacturer quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 16,000 Yuan/ton by cash. The polyester yarn price is also stiff in Taicang market. A local leading manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 15,400 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 14,700 Yuan/ton by cash. Manufacturers reported that yesterday’s production-marketing was around 60-70%.

The polyester yarn price is mainly adjusting in Zhejiang Market. Local manufacturers in Xiao Shan market unchanged the quotations; now one of them quoted FDY 61D/24F for 15,000 Yuan/ton and DTY 75D/72F micro-web for 18,600 Yuan/ton. Another POY manufacturer quoted POY 75D/36F for 14,800 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 14,500 Yuan/ton. A manufacturer in Shao Xing quoted FDY 50D/24F is quoted for 15,000 Yuan/ton. While in real transactions, there are still privilege measures from the manufacturers who offered comparatively high prices. The polyester yarn price tends to be stable in Tong Xiang. Local manufacturers unchanged the quotations. One of the local manufacturers quoted DTY 150D/48F for 15,850 Yuan/ton by acceptance and POY 150D/144F for 14,850 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers decreased the quotations by 100 Yuan/ton last weekend and they said the production-marketing fell back to 80%.

    The straddle attitude of the downstream market is strong and the manufacturers are not optimistic about the afternoon market; they still purchase the raw materials according to their needs. Besides, the polyester material in the upstream market is also weak. Therefore, it is predicted that the polyester yarn price will tend to be weak recently.
