The polyester price increased in Jiangsu Market today. For example, a leading full-dull products manufacturer increased some FDY products by 100-300 Yuan/ton and increased DTY 75D series products by 200 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 48D/48F for 18,000 Yuan/ton and FDY 68D/48F for 16,900 Yuan/ton and DTY 75D/72F for 20,000 Yuan/ton. Another melt spinning manufacturer increased semi-light FDY and DTY products by 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 50D/48F for 15,700 Yuan/ton by cash and DTY 150D/144F light web for 16,300 Yuan/ton with acceptance. However, the direct spinning manufacturer unchanged the quotations. Now they quoted FDY 50D/48F for 15,700 Yuan/ton by cash and FDY 75D/72F for 18,800 Yuan/ton. The other manufacturer quoted light FDY 40D/24F for 15,700 Yuan/ton by cash and semi-dull FDY 75D/36F for 13,800 Yuan/ton by cash. Manufacturers reported that the production and marketing can be balances. The polyester price slightly increased in Taicang Market. One of the local manufacturers increased some of the POY products by 50-100 Yuan/ton; now they quoted POY 150D/144F for 14,100 Yuan/ton by cash remittance. They reported that the production-marketing raise to 200% yesterday.

The polyester price both increased and decreased in Zhejiang Market. A leading manufacturer decreased some of the DTY products by hundred Yuan and increased some of FDY products by a hundred Yuan. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 15,200 Yuan/ton and low-stretch DTY 100D/36F for 17,300 Yuan/ton by cash. Another POY manufacturer stabilized the quotations and quoted POY 150D/48F for 13,600 Yuan/ton. The polyester price is steady in Shao Xing Market. A local manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/48F for 15,000 Yuan/ton. Another manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 14,800 Yuan/ton. The polyester price rose back in Tong Xiang Market. A local leading manufacturer increased some of the POY products by 50-100 Yuan/ton and kept the FDY and DTY products’ prices unchanged. Now they quoted POY 75D/72F for 15,400 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 14,150 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that the production-marketing raise to 150% yesterday.

The international oil price continued to rebound. Yesterday’s production-marketing obviously increased and it is clear that the covering has already begun. Therefore, the manufacturers who had low storage adjusted the quotations and those who had high storage continue to focus on the selling amount.
