Today’s polyester yarn price keeps steady in Shengze. A local direct spinning manufacturer reduced FDY products by 200-300 Yuan/ton generally yesterday, while they stabilized the quotation now and quote FDY 50D/24F for 19,600 Yuan/ton (6-month acceptance). Another melt spinning manufacturer’s quotation keep steady, and they quote DTY 150D/48F for 18,000 Yuan/ton. The other manufacturer unchanged the quotations; now they quote light FDY 40D/24F for 18,900 Yuan/ton (by cash). A full-dull products manufacturer now quoted FDY 66D/48F for 19,500 Yuan/ton. The manufacturers reported that the straddle attitude of the downstream market was strong; all the purchasing was done due to the requirements and the trading volume was little.
