Today’s Polyester Yarn Price Greatly Dropped in Shengze, China

The Polyester yarn price goes weak in Shengze Market. A local direct spinning manufacturer reduced the price of partial FDY products by 300-800 Yuan/ton. Among the products, the super-fine denier FDY had a great reducing range, DTY products reduced 100-300 Yuan/ton and POY products decreased 100 Yuan/ton generally. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 19,600 Yuan/ton (6-month acceptance), DTY 75D/72F 21,300 Yuan/ton (6-month acceptance) and POY 75D/72F 18,000 Yuan/ton (6-month acceptance). Another manufacturer kept the previous quotations and only made promotion for some specific products. For example, semi-dull FDY 40D/24F decreased 300 Yuan/ton and is quoted 19,500 Yuan/ton now. The manufacturers in Shengze all reported that the production-marketing was still low yesterday.
